Okay, on the upside, it's time for White Wednesday and I will get to see lots of bright whites and shabby white goodness at Faded Charm. Things are looking up!!!
I recently bought this picture frame
I didn't like her color (gaudy gold)
but, I loved her style
So, I painted her white
and added a vintage Valentine print
Looking good!
Found this sweet vintage bowl for less than $1.00!!!
REALLY
Lovin' the sea shells around the top and the tiny feet
This little white bird endured the nasty outdoors today
Hark! A wee bit of green still survives on this cold Winter day!
It's been nice getting my mind off the spookiness outside my windows,
but let me show you what I mean!
I am off to lock all the doors and board up the windows
before I start a new book tonight.
Rhonda
Oh- I have faith that you will finish that book in one sitting~ You are right- it does look "spooky" out there...quothe the Raven...Nevermore~
ReplyDeleteLove that shabby little white bird AND the frame? OH MY! LOVE the frame..and guess what? Your other two "finds" aren't so shabby either! Hugs-Diana

I let out a giggle when I saw the title of your evening read. ;-)

Lovely white! Thanks for sharing. ~ Sarah
What a great frame, Rhonda! Love the detailing! It sounds like a spooky kind of day your way. A thriller would not be my choice of book or movie on a night like that! Although, I think you'll be okay with the Berenstain Bears! : )
ReplyDeleteWhat wonderful detail! I think your idea to paint over the gold was genius.
ReplyDeleteI love the Berenstain Bears.
Stay safe.
NO way! That pretty bowl for less than $1? Wish I could send you some sunshine.

Such pretty white things! That cute little bowl for $1.00, wow! What were they thinking? Love the sweet white bird in the garden best.
ReplyDeletep.s. don't even think about reading that scary book to your grandbaby, lol.

ReplyDeleteOooooooooooooooh - spooky and wonderful, all at the same time! BEAUTIFUL photos - and Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh, yes my comment needed spell check and had to be removed - spooky what my fingers will type sometimes! Happy White Wednesday - Tanya
ReplyDeleteBeautiful and spooky and a bit romantic too!
ReplyDeleteLove your finds, the frame looks perfect white with the vintage Valentine print. I am inspired now to stop at Goodwill on my break this morning. A fun frame to paint and make a Valentine decoration will be my aim. I don't have much to decorate for Valentines day. Your dreary day pic looks a lot like my area.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh I love that frame with the Valentine!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteGreat picture frame! I so sick of the cold gray days! I NEED some sunshine! Please Lord send some SUN! We got another 2 inches of snow last night!
