Welcome to Blue Creek Home. I'm Rhonda, a child of God, sister to five siblings, wife to G-Man for twenty seven years, mother of two beautiful and caring daughters, and I became a grandmother to our sweet Mason in April, 2010.
I have a booth in a local antique mall, Old Bank Antiques in Dadeville, AL. I sell vintage/antiques items and my own line of handmade pillows, "BCH Originals". I use vintage linens and various image transfer methods to create pillows, towels, etc. I also have a shop on Etsy.
I was in the decorative painting business for over 15 years. The first 10 years, I shared a profitable faux finishing company in Mississippi with a partner.
After moving back to Alabama, I went to work for "Faux Biz", an Auburn Alabama "Faux Effects" showroom and teaching facility. I had the pleasure of teaching classes in furniture/cabinet finishes and also aging mirrors.
Unfortunately, our broken economy forced the owner to close her business in 2009. I still help the Faux Biz gang now and then. I also use my decorative painting knowledge to transform furniture for my antique booth and also for my own home.

We are avid Auburn Tiger fans here at Blue Creek Home. G-Man and Alex graduated from Auburn University and Caroline will graduate from Auburn in Dec. 2011.
