My niece called a couple of days before the beach trip to tell me that a friend’s grandmother had died and she could get some pretty vintage items for my booth. There were several things that the family was going to donate when they were cleaning out her house. My niece starting naming off things that she could get for me. The only catch was they had to be small so she could fit them in her already over packed car, beach bound car.
She brought me some great things, but I didn’t have a chance to see everything at the beach. The girls brought the box home with them since I was going on to Florida. It was such fun to come home to a box of goodies.
This pair of Capodimonte framed flowers are so pretty. One petal is broken and the frames have a few minor scratches, but other than that they are in great shape. I can’t find anything similar on the internet so I have no idea what to charge for these beauties. If any of you know anything about them and/or their value please let me know.
I just love the flowers
See their signature at the top right?
The flowers are so detailed
The tight buds are so pretty
You can see how large they are here!!!
As much as I love them, I think I am going to pass these sweet things on for someone else to love.

While I don't recognize the name I think my aunt had something like your framed flowers. I am betting they came from her inlaws, so that goes back a decade or more before..1930s or 40s?
ReplyDeleteIt should be fun to research. Please let us know what you find.
A visit to the beach with family and then a box of goodies when you return home - you are a lucky girl.
