Valentine Foyer

Since I wasn't getting the job done, last night Alexandra decorated the foyer for Valentine's Day.  I don't have many real decorations so she had to improvise.  She got creative with construction paper and then started shopping the house for items to use.

She did it up good!  It makes me want to run to Wal-Mart and buy a box of Valentine cards and send one to every one of you!!!

Alex used a glittery pink starfish -
candles with messages of love
and a key to my heart

An old vintage remnant atop a red sheer runner
is the perfect base for whited frames cupids

A single angel's wing,  infant of Prague,
and a little crown makes a lovely grouping on one end

She used the Santos cage doll that G-Man got me for Christmas...
LOVE her!

Another cupid dangles from the lampshade by a red ribbon

What could be more romantic than a French tapestry
as the backdrop for this Valentine Vignette?

Thanks, Alex...I love it and I love you!!!

  5. You be sure to tell Alex that she did a beautiful job...love the key to my heart. I so wish Haley would do the same for me, but I really don't want to remove my AUBURN Championship tree from my foyer...MC will be bringing friends home in a few weeks for Mardi Gras and I want them to see it:) I will e-mailing soon about the giveaway.

    Blessings,
    Linda
