A Few New Treasures

I have more “me” time since Alex graduated.  I have to get in some serious junking since she is looking for a job and I will be babysitting again.

I love mirrors!  When I find a pretty one, I usually buy it since
mirrors sale pretty fast for me at Old Bank Antiques.

Got this at a yard sale

I left it outside and it got rained on
the gold frame turned dark
I usually paint the frames on these vintage plastic(?) mirrors
but I am sort of liking this old dark gold ‘rain’ finish

A friend,  who also has a booth at OBA,
purchased the other end of this sweet blue baby crib
She stretched chicken wire across the back
and uses it as a jewelry display
It is super cute!

I love the wicker panel and rabbit

Blue, pink, yellow, green, and white,
chipped and faded and wonderful!
Thanks for telling me it, Leda!
I will probably use it like you are
if my sister and I ever get a booth in Attalla.

  1. Great detail on the mirror, and I love the crib panel. A jewelry display is a great idea.

  2. Love the mirror and that crib end piece, Rhonda! Great idea to use it as a jewelery holder; it would also be great as a message board with chicken wire.

  4. I think the crib in would also make a great trellis for the garden!
