Furniture Makeovers and Booth Pics

Hi friends!
I have been busy, busy getting several pieces of furniture ready for my front booth at Old Bank Antiques - Lake Martin.  I thought I would miss having all of the white stuff, but I really like the way it is shaping up.  There are still lots of smalls in the photos. I planned on moving many of them to my downstairs booth, but they had just refinished the hardwood floors on the stairs so I couldn't get there. It took the best part of two days to get it all changed up and I think another couple of hours worth of tweaking will do it.
I will try to get photos of my booth downstairs next week. It got a makeover too.

This turned out great

I remembered to get a before pic after I started painting!!
I always have a little helper close by  : )

I like how the original green paint shows in the distressed areas

Washed canvas, French stencil, gray paint,
and tea was all it took to make this

My favorite!
A French Style Dresser with a new French Finish.
  Ooh-La-La!!!

Love how the Annie Sloan French Linen
looks next to the dark waxed natural wood

For more pictures you can check out the album on my facebook

  2. I LOVE that french dresser! I need to drop by your booth....tell me where it is on Lake Martin and when my sister and I go to her lake house in April for girl's weekend I'd love to look it up.

Can't wait to see your downstairs room!

  18. Loved looking at your booth on FB. I have been playing with ASCP and really like it! Today at Angels a couple offered me 1/2 price on a desk and chair I just painted - because she wanted to strip and repaint it blue. I told her I had more invested in the paint than her offer! And I just put it in the booth! She then got a lecture on the quality of ASCP...repaint it???NEVER!
