I often purchase framed art just to get the frames. If I like the shape and style of the frame, I will buy it regardless of the art.
I found a surprise in the last ones!
I found a surprise in the last ones!
I recently found these vintage framed prints at a local thrift store.
The prints were not really bad, but I didn't care for them.
I bought them purely for the pretty wooden frames.
I do really well selling empty vintage frames at
my booth so that was what I intended to do.
You can imagine my surprise when I discovered these
adorable prints behind the other prints
and they were prints from...
"The Reward"
gets this cute duo into a little trouble!!!
"In Disgrace"
has them both standing in the corner.
All of the children painted by Ms. Gutmann are beautiful
They are just as sweet from behind!
I love her short haircut.
... give the frames a fresh Annie Sloan chalk paint finish!!!
I think it was the right thing to do.
Rhonda

I had 3 of her prints hanging in my kids' rooms when they were little. I have always loved her work...and I often buy framed prints just to have the frame too! Crazy people, aren't we? Sometimes the pictures in them are SO BAD that I am red-faced checking them out because I fear someone will think I am buying them to hang!;>) xo Diana
