Thanks For The Helping Hands

Several of you have posted a special post about the unfortunate predicament that my blog and I have found ourselves in.  I hesitate to start naming names  since I might not be aware of every one. I get emotional every time I see a new one. Thank you to each one who did a special post or mentioned me on you blog.

I want to also thank those who has reached out  during this crazy mess with a comment or inquiry as to my whereabouts!   I do realize it isn't the end of the world, but it really has had me worried, depressed, and pretty dang angry!!! But, I am fine, really I am.  In fact, I have learned quite a bit about myself because of this.

I am beginning to pick up some steam and I most likely will carry on Blue Creek Home right here at this blogspot address.  I appreciate the friends who have posted on my behalf, those who have changed their links to my new url address, and for all of the sweet, supportive comments and encouragement that I have been receiving.

I am going to have to do some things to make this next chapter of my blog work.

First, I have to get over what happened and move forward (I really am working on it).  Most of the shock has worn off and now I am just straight up mad at the new owner of my previous place. After all,  I have spent two years creating Blue Creek Home and taking care of her, and he just slides right in and starts posting as though he owned the place - oh yeah, he does, doesn't he!!! : (

Second, I have got to be less anal (sorry, but it fits here) about my posts and photos.
I spend way too much time trying to perfect everything.

Third, I am going to discontinue my linky party,  Treasure Hunt Thursday, at least for now.  I think it would have grown and been a fun party, but it just takes extra time that I don't have.  Thank you to the fun treasure hunters who faithfully came every week.

Fourth,  I will post when I really have something good to share, and right now with Mason, I don't have quite as much time to create.

I will continue to spend spare time coming to see you as often as I can.  I love doing that - but it's one of the reasons that it takes so long to get my posts up. I can't resist all of the inspiration out there.

I will continue contributing to Belle Inspiration.  It is lovely working with Mimi.  I adore her!

I will continue to add things to my The Shop @ Blue Creek Home (Etsy).  I have enough things in my basement to add without having to spend time shopping and painting.

So, let me say "Thanks for all of the helping hands"

Strange, but neat display
The woods are beautiful.
Dying to paint the whole thing...we will see

Caring hands just keep reaching out!
Oddly, I found another strange hand display
at another thrift store the very next week.

Speaking of hands ~
Tia Carolina is modeling my first fabric bracelet

I used vintage fabrics and lace - raw edges and all

The centerpiece is also a vintage button
Isn't it romantic???
I think I was acting on a very old memory when I pulled these colors!!!
Wasn't this the old Delta or TWA Attendant's colors?
Anyone remember?

Yep, I thought so!

Hey, I did it!  I kept this post short and simple - but I did fuss with the photos too much. That habit will require some time to break.  Maybe I should take a photography class so I don't have to 'fix' them. Oh yes, that's what I need right now...another commitment!!!  I catch on slowly!

(((((I am sending you guys  big hugs))))

  2. Glad I found you again...I was so confused! I've been in sort of a blog down for a while- for some reason I could not get my comments to show up on some blogs-( yours was one of them) it was so frustrating to write one and then it would not post- it would just say I was not signed in even though I was! I just had to cut back to ease my stress! This is just another season of our lives!!

  4. This sounds exactly like what just happened the owner of the blog Bringing Pretty Back. Someone bought the name of her blog right out from under her!! She too is having a lot of the same feelings of frustration etc...but has decided to carry on. It's just not right!

  10. Your blog has always been one of my favorites! I was so confused when I kept looking for you and got that extremely annoying "Go Daddy" ad, etc. Please don't be discouraged by this minor (in the cosmic scheme of things) setback. Your friends will find you!

This is one of my favorite verses and I have it on a placque and a wall hanging... But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.

  14. Rhonda, I've only just caught up on all of this. I'm so relieved to hear that you are feeling a bit happier. I have tried to get things in order via blogger but, as usual, they are playing up and I can't manage this from my dashboard. I'm going to unfollow you for a while and then come back and follow when I can get rid of that other silly site!

    Take care and stay happy!

    Best wishes,
    Natasha.
