I did the thrift store circuit last week and found several great things - some bargains, some not so much.
This pretty vintage statue wasn't especially a great price, but it was hard for me to resist her. I am sure it would have been more expensive at an antique mall.
I am picturing ivy growing in her little basket
and eventually trailing down the sides
When I finished the dining room makeover,
I dressed the table very simply using
a mix of vintage and modern pieces
I found these pretty blue and white dishes at Tuesday Morning
Only $19.99 for four place settings
They have no problem sitting next to Waterford crystal
Who says the forks have to match???
My sweet SIL monogrammed the dinner napkins for me
I am enjoying it today...
for tomorrow, it will, most likely, be dead!!!

I hope your orchid lasts for awhile--they are pretty hardy, but I can rarely get them to rebloom. Nice find at TM and they do look nice with the Waterford. Those little bowls you are using for salad also look interesting! Have a wonderful spring week! Linda
ReplyDeleteYour orchid will be fine!! I love your table scape!! The blue and white dishes rock!
ReplyDeleteRhonda, your table scape is lovely. I look forward to reading through your back posts.

Love your vintage statue, gorgeous, I probably will not have want to pass her by either! Your "simple" table has beautiful plates, I like them all! Your Waterford stem glasses are beautiful and I like your, again, "simple" tablecloth very much. Your orchid is beautiful!
