I am sharing a recently acquired treasure that I simply adore. The French style drying rack came from Resurrect. I am slowly adding vintage milk bottles. It's has been fun looking for them when I am out junking.
I want an old milk bottle on every hook
I get to treasure hunt for seven more to fill it up
These two are truly treasures to me
They are from my childhood home
Of course, I don't remember drinking milk from little glass bottles!
I got this one this week
It says, "A bottle of milk is a bottle of health"
CUTE!!!
Don't forget the two giveaways!!!

I used prewashed burlap and canvas to make this pillow

Thanks for hosting. Good luck on your very first party! I love all your milk bottles. I have two, but would love to get more.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your linky party. I am helping announce it on my page.
ReplyDeleteLast year I was at a blog party that featured unusual bottles and guess I got carried away. Now people are finding them and giving them to me as gifts. What a fun way to display them!
I'm probably dating myself here but...I remember the milk man delivering milk and leaving it on the porch. It came in glass gallon jugs and those cute small ones too. Both had cardboard tops with "coins" for the milk company. I liked to play with the coins. My parents never bought the little ones because we drank too much milk.
ReplyDeleteI do remember buying the little ones occasionally at the corner market...along with bottled cokes.
Come see me.

ReplyDeleteCongrats on your first party...you are going to have so much fun and we are too:) Looking forward to shopping at Resurrect while I'm in the area. Haley spent a weekend last month with her little sis and came home with a couple of goodies from there. These drying racks are really nice and how wonderful that you have two milk bottles from your childhood.
