Regretfully, I have ignored my Etsy store, The Shop @ Blue Creek Home, while I have been busy prettying up my booth at Old Bank Antiques.
I have been at Old Bank Antiques long enough now to know what is likely to sell there. Now, when I am junking I am looking for booth items, Etsy items, and of course, Rhonda items!!! I am slowly getting better about feeling that I need to keep everything I find! It is still tempting but I can let things go a little easier every time I go on a search.
I just returned from a two day shopping/junking trip in North AL with sister #4. She can spot treasures among the trash faster that I can. We had such fun. At night, we would stay up way too late talking. One night we found a great website for craft patterns and ended up ordering several cute ones. Hopefully, I will have some sweet baby shoes and an incredible handbag on my Etsy shop as soon as the patterns arrive.
While I was there, one of my goals was to get some linen to make a chair slipcover. I could use the practice before I attempt the sofa slipcover. There is a great discount fabric store about thirty minutes from my sister's house. Unfortunately, we didn't get there before it closed, but it worked out fine. I was pretty much poor by then anyway!
If I had stayed longer with my sister, I would have been playing in 6 inches of snow today!!!
Here are just a couple of the things that I found on the trip that I will be adding to my Etsy store ASAP.
I love old quilt art
How cute are these French poodles?
I will be adding items to my Etsy store until I get the inventory built back up.
I am joining Linda at Coastal Charm for Nifty Thrifty Tuesday.
