***Please, pay attention to the guidelines for entering this giveaway. There seems to be lots more entries than new followers for Resurrect. Maybe everyone is following privately, who knows. But, I would like to see their blog grow, so please go visit and follow before coming back and letting me know that you did. Maybe even introduce yourselves if you have time. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!
I am so excited!!! Yesterday, I left the house at 9:00 a.m. and did not return until 6:00 p.m. I had a hair appointment with my favorite girl, Monique at 10:00 for some hair love and the rest of the day was spent shopping the antique stores, junk shops, and my very favorite shop, “Resurrect”. I have done several posts about Resurrect because I really do love it there. If you missed them the first time around they are here, here, here. My very first cloche came from there even before they opened the doors to their store. Right before their grand opening, they had a booth at an outdoor fair in Auburn, AL and G-Man got it for me. It is still one of my favorite things. Since then, I have purchased two more lovely cloches there. Everybody needs at least one TEN cloches, don’t’ you think?
This is my first cloche from Resurrect
Off to the 2009 Christmas party at Marty’s
It has been dressed up in more outfits than Mason!
These were my next two beautiful cloches from Resurrect
(Still not missing these gold walls!!!)
Love it…
Love it even more!
I am really not trying to string you along. There is a reason that I am showing off my pretty Resurrect cloches. The lovely proprietor, Michelle has offered to sponsor a give away to Blue Creek Home readers. She is a truly lovely girl!
By now you know what is coming. Yep, it is a honkin' big beautiful Resurrect cloche on a shabby white column base!!! I am really so excited about it. This is truly a generous gesture and it is greatly appreciated. I know you are dying to see it so I will introduce her right after we go over the guidelines.
FOR ONE CHANCE - YOU MUST FOLLOW RESURRECT ANTIQUES AND THEN COME BACK HERE ON THIS POST AND TELL ME IN A COMMENT
FOR A SECOND CHANCE – SPREAD THE NEWS WITH A POST/SIDE BAR BUTTON AND LEAVE ME A SEPARATE COMMENT THAT YOU DID
OF COURSE I WOULD LOVE TO HAVE YOU FOLLOW BCH TOO, BUT IT IS NOT NECESSARY.
Sorry, but because of the weight of the cloche, this giveaway is open to US/Canada readers only.
I still love all of you international readers.
Please remember to leave a separate comment to help random generator remain focused!
This giveaway will end @ midnight on Dec. 23. Good luck all.
Man, I could have so much fun with this thing!
The base is 13” x 13” inches – inside circle is 12 “ wide
The glass cloche is 14” tall and 9 1/2” wide
(sorry, snowman not included)
Okay, everybody settle down, that’s not all. I decided to buy some things so two lucky readers could win something. It is truly a mismatch of things, but lovely things non the less! Since it won't arrive before Christmas, I threw in the bird’s nest and I think you could use the glittery seashell angel in the summer too. And, the white wing would be an anytime item too.
It was hard trying to choose when there was so much to choose from!
I chose three vintage Christmas ornaments to go in the birds nest
It’s going to be hard to let this cutie go
She is fabulous
Vintage style ornament
The back is a postcard
This is the only item that didn’t come from Resurrect.
It is one of the angel wings that I made in pottery class that
is tied with a piece of my hand-dyed crinkled ribbon.
Rhonda
