Christmas Mantel @ Blue Creek Home

I just finished decorating the mantel and I really like it.  It is totally different from last year.
The main Christmas tree is also in the great room and it remained the same as last year – lime green and red.
I thought I would use whites, creams, and lime green for the mantel and it looks very nice together.
Notice too,  that my mustard walls are gone too.  It makes such a huge difference in this room.

The large architectural piece was over Caroline’s bed
We took it down when the room was redone for Alex and baby Mason
I am loving this color combination
Candle holders are inexpensive make-overs that I have had forever
Glitter snow man is from TJ Maxx – got him for $5.00 because he had come off his base
The little white bird branches are from The Dollar Tree this year –
the large beaded ball was 1/2 price after Christmas last year
The bottlebrush wreaths were purchased at Big Lots last year
I just purchased this wonderful white beaded garland last week
Cloche filled with lime green glass ornaments on a plate that G-Man made in pottery class
Wooden horse from CSN Stores – glitter star from Deborah @ Fairfield House
2009 Mantel
I am joining the Christmas Mantel Party over at The Lettered Cottage.   You must check out the many, many mantels that are already there… so much inspiration!

  4. How elegant! I've seen a lot of white decorating this year but I believe yours is the prettiest by far. I love using the lime green and white together and in fact found a lot of lime green, white and silver ornaments I must have bought last year on sale and forgot I had...I started to do all lime green and white this year but stayed with my traditional greens, reds and golds.

    Hugs!
