Being Florence Nightingale

I am being Florence Nightingale to my sister #4.  I got a call early Friday morning informing me that she had fallen at home on Thursday night and was in the hospital. She doesn't remember going down.  They ran a lot of tests trying to find out why she went down, but no tests were needed to see that she had messed up her left arm royally.

She is resting at home now, with the help of some wonderful pain meds.

Surgery will be Tuesday morning to saw off the end of the splintered radius and connect a stainless steel prosthetic to the end of the bone.  Seriously, the surgery is being delayed because they are having to order the part.  The large bone had popped out of place, but thank goodness it wasn't broken.  They were able to pop it back into place. (OUCH!)

I would love for you guys to remember her in your prayers.  I know some of you are real prayer warriors,  and we still know that God is good and he will bring good from this.

Rhonda
