Thrift Treasures This Week

I managed to find a couple of  pretty things at a mission store this week.  It’s a huge place – it takes me forever to walk through all the sections.  It’s fun if I am not on a schedule, but I was this time.  I pretty much raced through the place.  I could kick myself for putting back a couple of things.  I just couldn’t make decisions under pressure!!!!

The Vintage Lot

I plan on hanging necklaces, bracelets, and earrings on this little towel stand.

I adore the base.

I actually picked these white dishes up at an antique store with #4 sister.

Wouldn’t they be wonderful in a shadowbox?

Lovin’ this pattern -  It looks White House worthy!

I paid .50 each.   On E-Bay,  the butter pat dish is $7.95.

The dessert plate is $9.95.

P.S. I also have thrift shopped in a hurry..and left things behind that I shouldn't have. I get home and whimper to myself..why did you leave that??????. Even if i go back the next day, it's never still there..

  16. Love the little white dishes - great find. As for the Syracuse China, I live in the Syacuse area and they closed the plant last spring...so the price of pieces has risen tremendously because of that. They are now operating out of another country - go figure. But their outlet used to be so fun to go to and I really miss it - so, enjoy!
