For over a year, I have been looking for an affordable mannequin. I have found numerous ones that cost $200.00 and up, but that is ridiculous! I didn’t want one that badly!
I was more than excited when I found this one at one of my favorite local antique malls.
I have never seen a wicker one!!
The metal base is great…lovin’ it!
I was going to paint her cream but the green is growing on me.
Maybe, I will just sand it lightly to expose a little more of the
natural color wicker.
I picked up a few more vintage treasures at a junk store for - cheap!
I love a bargain!!
I fell in love with this mirror.
Angels and cupids make me happy!
This floral headband looks a lot like my bridal hairpiece.
This little cloche has a hanger inside. I think I will paint the base white
and use it to display (and protect) the one Christmas ornament
that I have from my childhood.
When I went into the bedroom to photograph the mannequin this afternoon,
the sun was low in the sky.
The room was dark, but the stain glass windows were alive with light…
it takes my breath away every time!
I am joining the fun at Rhoda’s and Linda’s parties. Click their party buttons to see more treasures.
I would love for all of you to enter my $50.00 CSN gift card giveaway here.
SNEAK PILLOW PREVIEW AND MASON:
Our precious boy is posing in the pile of pillows that I just finished for my Etsy store.
I will finish a few more and post them here and add them to the store in a couple of days.
