Winter Cloche Party!!!

It’s finally time for another fun cloche party at “A Stroll Through Life” with the wonderful Marty hosting!!!  She has already given us a few peeks at some of her cloches.  But, I know that she will have lots of surprises for the party!
Please…follow the link over to the party and see Marty’s amazing collection of cloches and then start visiting all of the links!!  It’s so much fun.

Winter Cloche Party @ Blue Creek Home

Caroline thought that I should decorate a cloche with crystal and silver for the winter theme.

I remembered I had several boxes of these cute ‘faux’ ice cubes that I have never used.
I added in some clear, homeless, knobs to the pile.  My ‘fourth sister’ gave me the adorable glass and silver bowl.

Oh my!!!  This little bunny is caught in a snow storm!!!
Maybe the candles will warm him up!

Hunker down little guy!!!!  Spring is just around the corner!

Does it have to be clear glass to be considered a cloche"?

I found this at a local thrift store.

It is dated 1976 on the bottom.  I love the fruit!

I went outdoors for these cloche shots.
This is winter in my yard…nothing in the pots,  freeze - burned vines on the courtyard wall, and jonquils coming up through the cold earth.
Oh yeah, a little shout out to our favorite College Team!!!

Last years dirty gardening tools waiting for the temperature to warm up so they can get back to work!

Our tall juniper’s look like they are bowed in the reflection of the curved glass.

I posted about this cheese server make-over here.
Marty suggested that I use it for the cloche party!

I also made this little crazy candy box-to-cloche make-over since the last party.
You can find it here.

Be sure to check out my give-away before you leave,  and then hop over to Marty’s for the party.  Lots of creativity and inspiration awaits!

  1. I think my favorite is the wire one with the fleur de lis--so cute with the bunnt!

  2. I love every single one of your cloches! You are just amazing with your creativity. I'm so glad I follow your blog because you inspire me.

    Have a wonderful weekend.

  3. I love the ones outside!I never would've thought of that! :)

  4. Love the bunny cloche in the candleholder! What a wonderful piece!

  5. The ice cubes just were the best. Now that is really winter. I just love the look. The bunny in the wire cloche is such a cute idea, and I just love that cloche. Your big cloche out in the garden is wonderful and what a way to store those gardening tools. The cheese dome and the shell cloche that you made are just ingenius and I am just drooling over both. Such creativity and so pretty. Thanks so much for joining the party. This is great fun. Hugs, Marty

  6. Love the garden tools! Now that is an original and so cute!

  7. If Marty is holding a contest for the most unusual cloches, you will win for sure, hands down! I love your unique candelabra cloche. I have never seen one like it. You are so creative!..Christine

  8. Very, very pretty. I love the bunny one getting warm in the snow.

  9. Oh, I just love all of your cloches. I've never seen one like yours with the candles and the wire cloche! It almost looks like it is a church piece, well, minus the bunny! :)
    Be a sweetie,
    Shelia ;)

  10. I just love all of your cloches!! The ice cubes, the wire cloche (love wire) with the real looking bunny from afar (!). And even though it is pretty wintry outdoors still, you braved it to give us some pretty arty shots!! Love it! Great post!

  11. That bunny looks real! Who would have thought the cloches would look so cool outside! lol LOVE it all, great job! Lezlee

  15. You actually used a cloche for its intended use (sort of), outside in your garden. How funny, that is a huge cloche btw.

  16. Hi Rhonda, your ideas are wonderful...so creative. I love, love the faux ice cubes.

  17. They are all pretty, but really like the one with the bunny.

  18. Love your blog. Very creative and beautiful ideas....except for the shout out to Auburn:-). A nice, big Roll Tide would suit me better...

  19. Gorgeous cloches...I love the metal scroll bottom on the first one...the bunny is so cute in the unique one with the candles.

  20. Hi Rhonda...

The little bunny looks just adorable in it! Too cute! Ohhh...and I love your cloche with the pretty seashell finial...absolutely gorgeous!!! Thank you for sharing all of your pretties with us!!!

I also wanted to thank you for coming by and taking a peek at my glimmering/shimmering cloches and for leaving such a sweet note!

that "ice" is way cool too!

  22. Hi Rhonda, that little cow cup has captured my heart. It's so so precious. The rabbit and wired cloche is wonderful! Have a wonderful weekend!

  23. The bunny is so incredibly cute and quite real looking!

  24. I like your bunny, your ice cubes, your garden tools, sea shells, your concrete urn...but how neat to see our mama's little broken cow cup! Such sweetness....it has to be nearly 100 years old--she would have been 95 this year--what a rascal she would have been--her talents still live in you!
