Some Family On The Gaither Gospel Hour!!!

First, I want to say…”Praise God”! from the bottom of my heart – He is Good!

I just finished watching the episode of “The Gaither Gospel Hour” on the Inspiration channel.  These boys take my breath away on their own, but to see my incredibly talented niece,  Amanda Singer, (and yes that’s really her name!) directing the 23 member choir  behind them was just about a chest - bursting dose of blessing.!  And, singing in that choir was my lovely sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Don Davis, who are both also extremely talented.  Can I get an amen????

The “Gaither Vocal  Band: Better Day” series is airing in three separate,  1 hour long segments.   I can’t wait to see the other two.

They didn’t show the choir until the very end tonight. But, in the last 5 minutes, I saw all three of them close up!  (Amanda,  it looks like you have been pumping some iron with that directing arm!!!)

The concert was amazing.  You  may remember how I feel about Mark Lowery from this post.  He is such a talent.  Goodness, they all have been blessed with magnificent voices. They make the kind of music that makes me sit up and listen…and sing along!   Their perfect harmony sends goose bumps up and down!!  I can’t listen to them without patting my foot to the rhythm,  singing along (these were the good old songs from days gone by), and always shedding a few tears.  It feels good, very good.

Tonight was just what I needed.

I have put a schedule of the upcoming shows airing on INSP.   I know that you will not recognize my loved ones (Hint: Amanda is directing, sis is wearing a red top,  and brother in law’s head is shaved!), but I promise, you will receive a blessing from The Gaither Band.

  3. Bonjour Rhonda,
The Gaithers are so good, my mother used to love singing along with those shows - now she's singing with my father in Heaven - Amen!
Unfortunately, I miss alot of these shows over here in Paris though I can tune in sometimes over the internet. We take so much for granted in the U.S. where you can just flip on the tv 24/7 and find wonderful programs.
    Bon Sunday Rhonda!

  4. Hey!My husband and I caught that episode last night and watched it again this morning. It was great. Mark is a total nut. I saw Michael English a few months ago on INSP sharing his testimony of restoration. I am so glad for him, I have always been fond of him. How neat is that that your family was able to participate. What a show , I really enjoyed it.
