Valentines & Roses…Tutorial!

Look what I made this afternoon!

Bought it like this

Dismantled it like this

Sorry little girly

Leftover smocked fabric from a window panel and some batting

Gives it a fresh new start

A bagful of fabric roses

More demolition

And a few hot glue blisters

My best kindergarten heart shape

Pinned on

Filled  in

Put back together

Papered and bumpered!

Done

Romantic, don’t ya think?

Oh yeah, I did a crackle/distressed finish on the frame and added a ribbon hanger.

It will join my slow-growing inventory at my etsy store,  Blue Creek Home…The Shop.

I am going to lots of parties this week:

  18. I love it, something like this would look lovely in our guest room.

And yes - you so need a cricut, I resisted one for years but splurged on black Friday and haven't regretted it.
