DIY Day - My Screened Porch Make-Over
((((((((((((((( I LOVE MY SCREENED PORCH )))))))))))))))))
______________________________________________________
I worked hard on our screened porch make-over and I am thankful that it is finished.
I plan on sitting out there and enjoy watching fall, with it's cooler temperatures, come sweeping in.
For me, it can't get here fast enough - because:
I like a good, crisp nip in the air.
I enjoy having a fire in the fireplace for the first time.
I looove decorating Blue Creek Home for all the fall/winter holidays.
I had rather cook chili and soup than meat and side dishes.
I like seeing little kids getting off of the bus in jackets instead of sweaty tee shirts and shorts.
Passing the neighborhood park with teenagers playing touch football makes me happy
The first time my breath gives off "smoke", I giggle like a little kid.
There is finally new episodes of my favorite shows on t.v.
And of course, football Saturdays - War Eagle!!!
Enough about my "fall" excitement. You can see the porch make-over here.
I am linking up with Kimba, the creative hostess for "DIY Day" over at her equally creative blog, "A Soft Place To Land". You just have to see all the other DIY projects.

ReplyDeleteHi Rhonda...
ReplyDeleteMy friend, you have the most lovely screened porch...love your makeover! I had to go back and look at your makeover post...what a sweet and cozy little getaway! Great job, my friend! Ohhh, I'm like you...I love Autumn! It's my favorite season! I think we're well on our way here in Colorado...we are having some really cool mornings and evenings! Can't wait for the trees to start turning those vibrant yellows, oranges, and reds!!! Ahhhh!!!
Warmest wishes,
Chari

I've always wanted a screened in porch, I imagine sitting on a porch swing watching it rain. I'll just imagine sitting on yours :)
ReplyDeleteEnjoying some fall weather sounds so inviting. We NEVER get that here, it is either warm or sweltering.
