Joy To The World

My wish for all of you is that

 You will allow God's great
glory to shine down upon
 your family this Christmas

And an angel of the Lord suddenly stood before them,
and the glory of the Lord shone around them;
 and they were terribly frightened.
And the angel said to them,
"Do not be afraid; for behold, I bring the people;
for today in the city of David there has been born for you a Savior,
 who is Christ the Lord.
 "And this will be a sign for you:

you will find a baby wrapped in cloths, and lying in a manger."

  5. Hi Rhonda, I stumbled upon your blog today and I too live in Alabama. I live in Huntsville, but I was born and raised in Mississippi and grew up in Jackson and Brandon, MS where I finished high school. I saw that you worked and lived in Mississippi at one point and thought how interesting. I also paint furniture and do a little faux finishing. My degree is interior design from Mississippi State Univ. and I have been dabbling in painted furniture; stripping, refinishing, restoring, etc. for nearly 25 years. I love the transformation given to an old piece of furniture!! I recently opened a shop inside of an antique mall where I sell vintage goods and my painted furniture, as well as, a chalk based paint, milk paint, a gilders paste, and will soon be adding a line of stencils. I will soon be offering paint workshops to teach how to use all of these products. I've never been to Dadeville, but would love to visit your antique booth. Based on what I read about your experience, I could learn a thing or two from you!! I'm always researching, always trying new techniques, and I love helping others create beautifully painted pieces for their home. If you have any advice to offer me, I would love it and it would be greatly appreciated, as I am beginning this new venture in my life!! Thank you, God bless you! Tina
