Today, I did a quick Christmas vignette in the kitchen after I cleaned off my counters! I left the counters almost bare since we will be decorating for Christmas on Friday. They looked really sad and lonely, so I used some things that Alex picked up for me last week to bring some early Christmas cheer.
The plain bleached bottlebrush tree in
the little iron urn is one from last year.
The smaller decorated one is from Alex
This sweet little glitter church – also from Alex
I love this sparkly piece – from Alex
The tiny shepherd and animals are from a thrift store
The set has everything except baby jesus!
Maybe, that was the reason it was only $1.00!!!!
All of the decorations from Alex came from
Wal-Mart and only cost $.97 - $1.97 each.
Now, that’s a deal if I have ever seen one!
Happy Thanksgiving Week
Rhonda
Very nice....You are getting a great start...I like the brush trees!!
ReplyDeleteHow cute is that! Love the glittery backdrop AND the brush trees! I have 2 or 3 nativity sets and they are ALL missing baby Jesus! What's up with that? xo Diana
ReplyDeleteGreat little display to get you in the mood, Rhonda! I wait until Black Friday to decorate as well. It works out because I do not leave the house that day. I made a mistake one year of just wanting to run to the grocery store and I got stuck in mall traffic! Never again! I get all my Christmas stuff out and figure out what's going where. This year should be fun because I'm starting fresh!

ReplyDeleteOh I think this is just such a perfect vignette. I loved the Nativity scene and the little bottle trees, the crown is so pretty also. Great vignette. Thanks so much for joining TTT and Happy Thanksgiving. Hugs, Marty
ReplyDeleteLove this Rhonda. I so love bottle brush trees and have them tucked into many nooks and crannies at my house! Alex did good :)
