Halloween Decorations

The boxes of Halloween decorations finally made it up from the basement just to become junk catchers and stumbling blocks for over a week!!! I just couldn't seem to muster my scary side into action!
My sweet Alex got busy today while I was gone and I came home to find this:

I love how she decorated the fireplace mantel.
The spooky old tree takes center stage
Crows perched on candlesticks!!! How cute is that?

Scattered antlers add  interest to the spooky mix.
The tiny pumpkin on the right was made in pottery class by G-Man!!

Why wait until Thanksgiving to use your cornucopias??
Standing on end, they resemble a witches hat

The pumpkins on either end of the mantel have been with us since the girls were young.

This blackbird print has been in my 'pile-o-prints' for years.
I decided to use brass tacks at each corner and attach it
to one of the barn wood frames my brother made.

How cute is this table??
She created a poison mixing station here!!!
Love how she covered the mirror with black webbing!

Using images from The Graphics Fairy, old books were turned into recipe books -
full of spells and brews!

All of the ingredients to make 'witch hair oil'
are ready to be cooked up and bottled!!

I love this pheasant skin -
it adds color and texture all the way through Thanksgiving.

This wooden box was a recent half price purchase from Hobby Lobby.
Alex made labels and added interesting contents to the little drawers!

My favorite Halloween ornament of all -
Christopher Radko black cat on a skate board!!!

The most amazing transformation was the breakfast table.
It was covered in craft mess when I left.
She worked some magic on this one!

I really like the purple dishes mixed with the orange and black.
I don't know where she came up with some of these things.
I put something up and then put something else in front of it and on and on....
until I completely forget I have them!!!
I have heard that is how hoarding gets started    : (
