My "Belle Inspiration" Christmas Article

Mimi from Bonjour Romance and the editor of "Belle Inspiration" sent me a mini magazine of my last article, " A Simpler Christmas." I thought I would share it with those who don't subscribe to "Belle Inspiration" (which you should do soon, right here!)

Also, don't forget to sign up for my Resurrect Antiques large cloche giveaway.

We are counting down the days until Christmas here at Blue Creek Home.  Our halls are decked and our presents are wrapped.  Three sisters will be coming tomorrow to spend the day and have lunch with us.
On Tuesday,  Alex, Mason, and I will be joining some  friends for a Christmas lunch and to introduce our sweet Mason to them.  That will wrap up our Christmas activities.

We will rest and quietly wait for the special day to arrive. First, celebrating the birth of our precious Savior and then enjoying gifts from the man in the red suit who will be visiting our grandson for the first time. Since he is only 8 months old, Mason, most likely, will not understand any of it except that he gets to rip the paper off of boxes. And, he has had some practice on this activity already!!!

This has proven to be one of Mason's favorite activities!!!

From now until Christmas, I will be posting more of our Christmas decorations that I haven't shared.  And, of course, I will post the winner of the giveaway on Christmas Eve.

  1. Rhonda, The article is great and what a cutie Mason is! Love his pants. One year we were taking care of my sister's dogs at Christmas. I came home from work and they had ripped the paper off every gift! My sister was forced to help me rewrap everything.
    Merry Christmas

  2. He is too cute, Rhonda! He will probably have more fun playing with the paper at this age than the presents! Mine is even younger so I didn't go too crazy this year.

  3. Beautiful story from your childhood...our tree was always a cedar tree too...I still remember the year that we had to tie it to the wall, but we still thought it was wonderful...I can say that me and sisters were always jealous of our neighbors silver tree with the color wheel:) Your nativity set is very pretty...thanks for sharing it. Little Mason looks like he is having a really good time with the paper...I know you are having a blast with him during the holidays. Wishing you and entire family a very MERRY CHRISTMAS!

    Blessings,
    Linda
