The deer population in our neighborhood is unbelievable. They remind me a lot of the paparazzi!!! They stand outside your house all day long, they aren’t scared of anything, they tend to congregate in the street, and they love to make you drive your car around them or ever so slowly through the middle of them! But guess who has the camera???
Here are some of the locals!
These photographs were taken one street over from us on an empty lot full of wildflowers.
It was a sight to behold.
…THE END!!!

Wow! I hate to say this...but all I can think of is how much fun the guys in my house would have in that field! You know how Texas boys love their hunting;)!
ReplyDeleteThe flowers are beautiful too!
Enjoy!

What fabulous shots Rhonda! The deer are gorgeous as it is but to see them standing in a field of wildflowers... Love "the end" shot - too cute!

OY! We are over-run too. My poor garden! They are beautiful though, aren't they/

I love the deer but they sure are pests sometimes. They can mess up a garden bad. Great photos.
ReplyDeleteThey are beautiful...unless they are in my garden! Blessings to you!
ReplyDeleteWonderful pictures. We don't have animal visitors that large in our neighborhood. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures.......love the wild flowers and the deer!!
ReplyDeleteThey are so elegant looking. And so beautiful in that field of wild flowers!!!
ReplyDeleteRhonda, they are so pretty. I get excited when they walk through our back yard occasionally. My mom's neighborhood is like yours, they have hundreds of deer. One day when I went to her house they were lying down all in the woods in front of her house. I just stopped and looked at them and they don't even move. The one's at our house run.
ReplyDeleteThey're so beautiful, and glad they were eating wildflowers, and not your's. We have this situation too, we call them "gangs". Like a bunch of teenagers loitering at the mall! Which reminds me, I need "deer spray",

I want to run through that lovely field with my Nikon. You're so funny, too.
ReplyDeleteThey're so beautiful, we have them around our house to, but not that many. We have a feeder that my husband feeds them from, we love watching them! Blessings to you~~~Daphne
ReplyDeleteWhat a great setting with the flowers in bloom!

Your photographs are fantastic! I am surprised you are able to get so close. I love all animals but when I see an explosion in the deer population around here I fear how many will starve in the winter. They are such graceful and gentle animals.

Hi Rhonda!
ReplyDeleteHa! This post made me laugh! We have the same papparazi here in our hood, too.
Thank you so much for entering my book giveaway, and also for the shout-out!
Good luck!
All the best,
Anne
How beautiful! This scenery is much better than a bunch of flashing cameras!
ReplyDeleteThey are so beautiful! My husband loves to hunt, but I will say, in five years of marriage and hunting every weekend through the season, he has only killed two! lol I can't kill a thing, well, except for those big black grasshoppers with yellow and red markings that scare the pants off of me!! SQUIRREL!! I changed subjects ~ sorry!
ReplyDeleteWe have deer in our neighborhood too! Steve says they will overpopulate and starve if you don't thin them out! But I still coudn't hurt one!!
