Wolfe Studio Birds
When I lived in Jackson, MS, I was doing some decorative painting for a client who had the most incredible bird collection displayed on her master bedroom mantle. I fell in love with them. She shared with me the story of the Wolfes and told me that me that they had a small retail store at their home/studio - Wolfe Studio.
It didn't take me long to pay them a visit. I purchased my first bird that day. Al actually purchased the other ones for me.
My oldest daughter sculpted and painted the one sitting on the book using one of the Wolfe birds as a model.
I haven't added to my small Wolfe bird collection in several years. I will definitely go by their studio next time that I visit friends in Jackson.
For other collections, visit Tam at The Gypsy's Corner for "Three or More Tuesday".
