Today I am sharing a fairly new collection as part of "Three or More Tuesday" hosted by Tam at "The Gypsy's Corner". I started it after we moved to the lake five years ago. I have always admired china with fish patterns and living this close to the water just made me want some of these beauties myself.

This small platter was my first piece purchased at an antique mall : "bavaria-vohen strauss-johann loltmann"

The large platter came with 6 of the small plates:
"Victoria Carlsbad Austria"

Don't forget to hop over to The Gypsy's Corner to see lots more collections.

This is nice stuff to look at. Last year I saw a fish dinner service here at the local junkshop. I thought it was lovely but having so much china and dinner sets as I already have I did not buy it. Your plates are lovely. Enjoy them. Thanks for sharing

Rhonda, those are so unique. I have never seen them before. (but then I don't get around much, lol)
ReplyDeleteI am glad they are on display and not kept in a cupboard somewhere.

ReplyDeleteThese are perfect for the lake, Rhonda. They look good displayed. My husband bought some fish plates for the lakehouse when we first moved there (to eat on~not display). He is like a toddler. Always has to have his sandwich on one of these plates!! LOL!
ReplyDeleteHappy TOMT!!
