A Bridal Shower

I recently had the pleasure of hosting a bridal shower for a dear, young friend who used to work with me.

I truly enjoy getting ready for "functions" at my house. Well, don't ask Al because he will tell you that I get completely crazy, spinning around like the Tasmanian Devil! And he is absolutely right...but something about it is still fun to me.

If you have read any of my earlier post, you will know that I have been dreaming about neutralizing a few rooms around here. So, what a perfect chance to do a neutral table scape...I mean, it's a bridal shower - white is good...right?

I'm not exactly sure why, but I decided to make the invitations!!! I've never made anything on the computer. Am I just plain crazy, or what? It took a while, but I finally got them done and mailed.

Whew!! One thing down...lots to go.

Fast Forward - cook, clean, touch-up baseboards, pick up petit fours at Edgars in B'ham, stop @ two antique malls on the way home from B'ham(not related to shower...I just can't pass one up!), and Voila- A Neutral Bridal Shower Table!!

This photo was taken after the shower was over, so things are all askew.

Holly, you were a beautiful bride, girl!!
