I am so in love with my shabby chic nest from 2 Bags Full
Textile artist Victoria Boster uses beautiful yarns and
vintage laces and ribbons to create these lovely nests
Mine arrived last week and you can't imagine
how excited I was to receive it
I have it on the antique watch makers cabinet in the great room
along side a new mercury glass lamp
I love the lamp too -
it has a crown, French script, and wire netting
Of course, there are some tattered books
And my drying rack from Resurrect Antiques
holding vintage old blue and white cups
Resurrect Antiques just moved to a new location
make sure to check it out - use the link above
It seems to lighten the heavy feel of this vignette,
don't you think?
Look at the individual ribbons, laces, and yarns
Aren't they simply gorgeous?
Nestled safely inside, in a fluff of feathers, are two tiny wooden eggs
Oh yes, the package arrived with this sweet bird attached
Thank you Vicki...I LOVE IT!!!
Here are more of Vicki's marvelous creations
I had the choice of ordering the Woodland Nest or...
...the Shabby Chic Nest
Vicki uses vintage ribbons and laces from her precious mother's collection
I am such a sentimentalist that I had to have this one
It is also possible to send her special ribbons
and laces that you have that you want included
Unfortunately, I didn't do it, even though
she emailed me when it was time
What was I thinking!!!
I think I will tuck in a couple of special things myself
